Position Purpose:

The Housekeeping Aide I is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments, and other assigned areas.

What you will do:

• Perform required cleaning and housekeeper functions in assigned area.
• Execute proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment.
• Perform other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.
• Distribute clean linen to all departments following established par levels.
• Collect soiled linen from all departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: 2 years of high school preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Skills: Ability to retain on-job training. Must be able to read, written instructions in English and comprehend verbal instructions in English.
