Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of preschool-aged children.
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued and supported.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social skills development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and developmental milestones.

Requirements:

- Hold an Early Childhood Degree. A bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare, tutoring, or classroom setting.
- Hold a Christian faith and be able to share the basics of Christian faith with children

-Knowledge of early intervention strategies and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies for promoting positive behavior.
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
