Packer Inspector
Job Description/Summary:
Pack product by use of hands in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining highest quality.
Required Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Factory experience a plus.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Must be able to work assigned shift with overtime required both weekly and on weekends.
Comply with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and the department assigned to.
Use of the proper personal protective equipment.
Read docket daily and at all order changes to ensure the proper product is being packed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in their assigned areas.
Pack and inspect efficiently on all production lines that you have been trained on.
Help surrounding areas when their machine is down.
Label for the current job as well as upcoming job changes ensuring accuracy.
Complete proper quality bag check every fifteen minutes.
Properly read and understand how to work the scales.
Use a hot melt gun safely.
Properly work a calculator.
Use of a hand jack for product movement.
Use a tape gun in a safe manner.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
