We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems and implement repairs
- Weld, fabricate, and maintain equipment as needed
- Read and interpret schematics and logic controllers
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams
- Supervise and lead maintenance staff when necessary
- Mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining industrial machinery
- Electrical skills to diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and work with various tools and equipment
- Proficiency in reading schematics and logic controllers
- Strong leadership skills to supervise maintenance tasks effectively
- Customer service-oriented approach to address internal maintenance requests
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Light repair and maintenance of building equipment including but not limited to doors, floors, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, roofs, irrigation, locks and keys, etc.
- May assist and/or perform inspections, conduct periodic general preventive maintenance, or operate building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems
- Fill out daily equipment logs as directed and perform visual inspections of all building mechanical and life safety equipment to ensure normal operation
- Respond to, prioritize and complete assigned work orders via the Workspeed work order tracking system
- Daily coordination and communications with tenants, customers and building visitors
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives as relates to building operations and practice safe work habits
- Be courteous, neat, clean, and in proper uniform; always representing the Company in a professional, moral, and ethical manner
- Team support and coverage as needed
- Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders and work standing all day.
- Ability to access remote work areas, i.e., crawl spaces, roofs.
- Ability to utilize full manual dexterity (i.e. sitting, squatting, bending, crawling, kneeling, lifting, walking, manipulating tools with limbs extended).
- Must be able to work in these conditions: Indoors 80%, Outdoors20%
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in hazardous environments, such as construction sites, and work in all types of weather.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Will be required to work evenings; holidays and weekends to ensure coverage
