Job Summary/PurposeThe Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Department DescriptionThe PACU is a critical care unit where the patient's vital signs are closely observed, pain management begins, and fluids are given. The nursing staff is skilled in recognizing and managing problems in patients after receiving anesthesia.
Experience/Education/QualificationsCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
AHA Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon submission.
GSR PACU:
PACU Or Critical Care Experience Required.ACLS required upon submission.
PALS or ENPC preferred for initial contract. Required for any extensions.
