Position : Surveyor/ Party Chief
Location : Fargo, ND (Onsite)
Duration : Fulltime
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Survey Party Chief will assist in planning and executing proposed field survey activities including construction staking and other construction related surveys while maintaining daily survey notes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for field data collection, field calculations, using proper survey procedures and construction layout for earthworks and structural construction.
- Performs accurate measurements and calculations in recording the field data using instruments and measuring devices
- Drives company or personal vehicle to reach jobsites
- Identifies hazardous situations and applies safety procedures and company standards
- Effective communicating with Survey Manager as to progress updates, scope changes, HSSE reporting and other project impacts
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of survey experience including party chief experience
- Technical school diploma or certificate in any related field considered an asset
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Knowledge of field survey methods and calculations.
- Strong cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team.
