We are seeking highly motivated wash and repair operators, for our Belmond, IA location, to wash and repair plastic seed bin containers using a variety of hand tools and plastic welding equipment.

- Evaluate seed bins, determine necessary repairs
- Wash seed bins using power sprayers
- Cut out replacement sections from a scrap seed bin
- Plastic weld the replacement section using proper welding techniques
- Diagnose common equipment problems and effectively communicate with maintenance
- Coordinate with team members for maximum production efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for minimum downtime and maximum
- Use basic hand tools for routine equipment adjustment and repairs
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to recognize colors
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Good math skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Plastic Welding experience preferred
- Experience using grinders, saws all, drills and Dremel tools preferred
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Industrial warehouse environment.
