Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description :

TriSource is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing company located in Elkridge, MD, seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to join their team as a temp-to-hire Accounts Payable Specialist.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

High Volume Invoice Processing: Process a large volume of invoices accurately and efficiently using the SAP system. Ensure timely and accurate data entry, including matching invoices with purchase orders, verifying quantities and prices, and resolving any discrepancies.

Excel Skills: Utilize proficient Excel skills to perform various data management tasks, such as creating and maintaining spreadsheets, generating reports, and analyzing data to support decision-making processes.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the manufacturing department by handling correspondence, filing documents, organizing meetings, and maintaining office supplies.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and other relevant documents. Update and manage databases to ensure information is up to date and readily accessible.

Communication: Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and vendors to resolve invoice-related issues, clarify discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, related to invoice processing and documentation.

Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to invoice processing, data entry, and document management. Take appropriate corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent future occurrences.

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Proficiency in SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create formulas, use pivot tables, and manipulate data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
