What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at TriSource?
TriSource is recruiting for a full time-Day Time-Behavioral Health Technician for a large behavioral/mental health facility in Richmond, VA! You will be assisting adult females with mental health and substance abuse issues. This is a "temp to perm" style employment with weekly pay!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with facilitating group activities; engages clients.
- Monitors and assists clients with activities of daily living.
- Performs customer service duties by meeting and greeting clients upon arrival for treatment; admits clients to the unit by taking inventory of belongings; conducts tours and orientation of unit; cleans and maintains bedrooms.
- Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the unit.
- Performs laundry duties for unit and client laundry; assists clients with special needs; serves meals.
- Performs filing duties and provides directions.
- Prepares and maintains clinical documentation and completes progress notes; completes shift reports.
- Organizes the group room and the kitchens.
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least a bachelors degree in a human service field
- At least 6 months experience required
- QMHP-T or CSAC-S Preferred
- Valid Virginia drivers license
- Clean background and able to pass a drug screening
Pay Rate: $23.31/HR
