Supply Chain/Purchasing Coordinator

A company in Baltimore is looking for a Supply Chain/Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. This position will be onsite 5 days a week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and the salary range is $50k-65k.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the ERP system to release production and purchase orders.
• Coordinate outside services and processing schedules.
• Expedite work orders, purchase orders and services as required to meet customer demand.
• Evaluate and set raw material safety stock/re-order point levels for production products.
• Create purchase requisitions & purchase orders for raw materials, MRO, services, etc.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to develop solutions for potential material delays, supplier disruptions, inventory discrepancies, etc.
• Negotiate services and pricing with vendors.
• Perform supplier MOQ, lead-time, delivery frequency analyses as required.
• Issue supplier corrective actions as required.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of purchasing and supply chain planning experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Service ethic; understands and embraces service relationship with internal and external customers; highly collaborative work style
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office and Experience with ERP systems.
