Location : Beltsville MD

Performs functions associatedwith all manufacturing operations including working with engineersin setup and calibration tasks as well as performing rework andquality testing related to the production of parts componentssubassemblies and final assemblies.

Uses sophisticated programs tocollect and evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustmentsto products instruments or equipment.

Determines and may assist indeveloping methods and procedures to control or modify themanufacturing process. Works with engineers in conductingexperiments.

Seekingcandidates to fill a Manufacturing Technician position for ourBeltsville MD facility. Position is for 1st shift. Candidate willprovide technician support for the manufacturing of integratedproducts in our loop heat pipe area.

Candidates will need to bemechanically skilled. Candidates should be able to communicate welland have the ability and drive to learn quickly.

Minimum Requirements :

HS diplomaor equivalent (education will be verified)

Minimum 2 years experience required.

Strongmechanical aptitude to include the ability to read and interpretdrawings

Attention to detail with a focuson quality workmanship

Familiar with handtools and good math / geometry skills

Candidate must be able to read and follow written manufacturinginstructions and technical procedures

Operate equipment such as hand tools and power machinery forprocessing metals composites and wood

Mustwork closely with lead technicians and supervisor to meet buildrequirements and schedules within allotted budgets

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Demonstrates high level of concern for safety of self andothers

Willing to work flexible schedulesas needed to meet delivery dates

Preferred Skills :

Computer skills including MS Word and Excel are a plus

Previous fabrication experience in aerospacemanufacturing environment

Experiencepreparing / mixing epoxy and silicone adhesives for mechanical andthermal component installation

Experiencehandling of hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA andindustry standards
