Your responsibilities:

• Key engineering contact for customers and internal departments (development, sales, etc.) regarding technical questions on engine and battery cooling components
• Consulting customers regarding technical feasibility, offering solutions to problems, and presenting results of development projects
• Develop innovative concepts for new projects
• Design and release of components in the customer environment
• Interface for development projects between pre- and serial-development
• Develop and oversee validation planning and results reporting to customer
• Manage engineering changes from quote kick-off to final 2D drawing update and release

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering related field
• Minimum of 3 years of job experience in the area of quality and development of EPDM or plastic cooling products including hoses, plastic lines, injected components such as headers, quick connects, plastic tubing, and surge tanks
• Experience with OEM systems and vehicle development processes and milestones
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management and PLM systems such as Teamcenter to review CAD and engineering feasibility
• Experience with root cause analysis methods and techniques
• Highly organized and possess strong communication skills to manage complex topics and work with all levels of the customer
• Team spirit, willingness for performance, and flexibility
• Ability to travel to various global manufacturing sites (<5%)
