Trividia Health is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D and QA teams on a contract basis for 3 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design and development, with expertise in tool mold design and proficiency in Solidworks CAD software.
Immediate Tasks:
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Modify or re-create component mechanical drawings for changes
- Update organization of component source files in shared directory.
- Work with manufacturer to bring up 3D printer in storage mode
- Print 3D mechanical replacement parts for manufacturing, and quality teams as needed.
- Organize component source files in shared directory
- Provide mechanical engineering designs for new test fixtures.
- Provide mechanical engineering designs for new products.
- Provide drawing modifications to manufacturing plastic tool mold designs.
- Provide mechanical engineering review and support for change requests (CR) and supplier change requests (SCRs)
- Provide mechanical engineering review and support for corrective and preventable action (CAPA) and non-conforming notice (NCN) and supplier corrective action report (SCAR)
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience using Solidworks for product design
- Experience with tool mold design
- Proficiency in 3D printing technologies
- Medical device design experience is a plus
