Trivium Interactive is a women-owned small company of creatives working with museums, visitor centers, and corporations to tell stories through interactive exhibit experiences. Qualified applicants should:

• Be pursuing or have a degree in graphic design / design-adjacent fields
• Have experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma or XD
• Demonstrate interactive design skill through a strong portfolio
• Have the ability to commute to our office in the North End of Boston 
• Have their own device (i.e. laptop) to use during internship hours

Bonus if an applicant has experience with:

• Cutting up graphic assets for UI or animation
• Adobe After Effects
• Some familiarity with Unity

The Details

The Graphic Design Intern will work under Art Directors and senior graphic designers to prepare interface screens for interactive media. Teamwork skills and a high level of organization are a must; we are a highly collaborative team and we know that the best ideas can emerge when and where we least expect.

In addition, Interns are asked to help us with Quality Assurance testing of our exhibits before they are installed. This summer we will be testing exhibits for the Flint Hills Discovery Center, Lowell Observatory, Revisit the Revolutionary War — a kiosk-based project for multiple sites in New York State, and North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island.

Duration: Fall Semester, with the possibility of extension, 20-25 hours/week

Pay: $15/hour
