Responsibilities

• Operate and drive trucks with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 100,000 pounds
• Haul 50' walking floor trailers
• Securely and properly attach power units to trailers
• Maintain ELDs and complete daily route paperwork
• Service vehicle as needed (refuel, check tire pressure, complete DVIRs)
• Ensure load is secured and within weight limits for state and local highways
• Follow routing and landfill schedules
• Maneuver and park tractor-trailers
• Navigate routes using GPS and/or other routing systems

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain a valid Class A driver's license
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
• Available to work weekdays
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to climb a ladder and roll trailer tarp

Compensation

Salary: $54,000 - $78,000 per year
