We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Position OverviewMaintenance Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration of the computerized maintenance management system including software support. Maintenance Systems Administrator purchases parts, service, and submits payables pertaining to the maintenance department. Administrator has vendor interfacing and support for general personnel administration and maintain necessary maintenance records.
Areas of FocusMaintenance Systems Administrator supports general personnel administration and provides technical guidance for the CMMS.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical guidance for the CMMS
- Ensures that the CMMS software data files are complete and current
- Assist in educating operations/facilities personnel in the CMMS process
- Work with vendors for purchasing of repair and/or replacement parts
- Purchases all Maintenance and Operation supplies and receives in PMC
- Maintains and advises on the use and disposition of stock items, surplus items, and rental equipment.
- Coordinates the activities of the Stockroom attendants and Handyman as needed
- Maintain updated service agreements and act as local contact for contracted maintenance
- Provide daily support to the maintenance department for work orders, preventive work orders, any and all work order reports
- Follow company guidelines for purchasing and vendor interface
- Assure all purchases are complete and update requisitions of any changes
- Responsible for working with the Accounts Payable department with regards to purchase orders and invoices pertaining to Maintenance and Operations
- Update department budgets as per cost centers
- Provide general office duties as per instructed from the Maintenance Manager
- Follows quality system procedures
- High School Diploma
- 5 years’ experience in purchasing
- Acquisition/purchasing experience
- Communication and negotiating skills; negotiate pricing, availability, and delivery for equipment repair parts and contracted maintenance
- Knowledge of maintenance operations
- Associates degree in a technical related field
- Experience in manufacturing and battery industry
