**Description**
The Bartender is integral to the guest experience and provides beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. The Bartender will service beverages at the facility and provide a high quality service-oriented environment.
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:**
* 1-2 years of bartending experience
* Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
* Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes
* Must have strong customer/guest orientation
* Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment
* Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be dependable
**Responsibilities:**
* Maintain a professional appearance at all times
* Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies
* Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment
* Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed
* Collects payment for drinks served
* Greets and provides immediate attention to guests
* Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
* Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
* Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
* Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
* Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned
* Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
* Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
