REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Education.
- Commitment to ongoing education through yearly in-services.
Salary and Hours:
- Salary based on education and experience.
- Hours worked will be 8AM-12PM.
- Attend scheduled meetings and activities outside these hours, as needed.
Statement of Faith:
- We ask that all candidates be willing to provide a written statement of faith briefly describing your Christian belief and its influence in your life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and maintain the classroom to be inviting for children’s interaction.
- Plan and provide developmentally appropriate activities and materials.
- Participate in Christian-based curriculum planning that meets the needs of children.
- Submit weekly lesson plans and maintain attendance and student records.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents, including conferences.
- Handle discipline as stated in the Parent and Staff Manuals.
- Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Maintain enthusiasm and energy when working with students, parents and staff.
