Position: Childcare Supervisor, Before and After School

Location: TBD

Reports to: Early Childhood Director

Posting Date: June 19, 2024

Starting Date: ASAP

Salary: $20.77/hour, 30 hours/week during the school year, 36-40 for summer employment (52-week position)

Qualifications:

  • Must meet the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirements for Childcare Preschool
Directors
  • Minimum high school diploma - associate degree in Elementary Education or another Child related field preferred
  • Must meet DHS licensing requirements
  • Experience working with and planning activities for preschool age children
  • Understanding of child development
  • Demonstrate aptitude and competence for assigned duties and tasks
  • CPR, First-Aid, and other compliance training required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of licensing regulations for centers serving preschool age children
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to establish good rapport with parents, students, and staff
  • Demonstrated skill in use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
