13 week contract plus extension or permanent hire

Skills/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelors degree Pharmacy or PHD Pharmacy
• Pharmacist State of Texas license
• 2 years hospital staff pharmacist experience required (Pediatric experience preferred)
• 40 hours of training in compounding sterile products accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education or the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists preferred
• IV Certification, Epic training, Pediatric experience preferred

Shift: 6:30pm-7am – variable 10-12 hr. shift/ Variable night shift and weekend rotation

Job Description: Will be responsible for ensuring appropriate medications and doses are processed and dispensed for patients, maintaining stock/supplies, and coordinating workflow in the pharmacy. Must have experience with pediatric patients.
