Job Summary:
Responsible for the implementation of the home health marketing strategy. Carries out duties consistent with the
education and increase in knowledge of medical health personnel in the home health regional service area.
Job Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Prefer Business Degree from an accredited school of business, emphasis on sales, marketing, or public relations or Degree in a Health Care Field (RN,SW,PT, Ect)
· Prefer minimum of 3 years’ territorial sales experience or administrative experience dealing with sales, marketing, or public relations
· Prefer a minimum of 3 years’ experience in “hand-on” routine day-to-day responsibilities that have proven effective in establishing relationships with medical health organizations
· Home Health and/or home health experience preferred
· Valid driver’s license
· Proof of current automobile insurance
· Demonstrate ability to relate effectively with physicians, health care professional, the community and members of the home home health interdisciplinary team
· Demonstrates understanding of and acceptance of home health principles
· Demonstrates excellence in oral and written communications
Physical Requirements:
· Frequently required to stand, reach, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, sit for long periods and work on a key board
· Regularly required to use hands and to speak and hear
· Intermittently lift or move up to 20 pounds
· Ability to deal effectively with stress
· Specific visual requirements of this job include close, distant, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to focus
Working Conditions:
· General office setting, occasional patient home or healthcare office or hospital
· Exposure to Category II

Essential Functions:
· The marketing staff shall be responsible for the sharing of knowledge of home health principles and specifically regarding Trucare Home health as being #1 in patient care.
· Be readily accessible by telecommunications when off-site during business hours
· Maintains contact with home health office and report to office on a periodic basis
· Maintains and updates own scheduling including, but not limited tom, scheduling appointments, making contacts, fostering education of medical health personnel in doctor’s office setting, creating referral opportunities
· Be responsible for the continued awareness of Trucare Home health within medical health care settings
· Participate in the public education of home health principles
· Enlist Administrator/Director of nursing in developing relationships with new referral sources
· Assist with and develop new marketing strategies in conjunction with Board/Owner
· Plans ahead for the future of the organization
· Other duties as assigned
