**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Pick up and deliver customer units to/from Service in a safe and timely manner.

* Transfer Class 6-8 trucks or chase vehicles between TCI dealerships or customer locations throughout IL, IN, and MO.

* Positively engage with customers to deliver paperwork, documentation, or information to verify the work needed or performed, special accommodations, or requests.

* Ensure vehicle is presented in a clean manner and according to company policies.

* Conduct pre-trip inspections and other routine maintenance checks as assigned.

* Shuttle customers to nearby hotels or restaurants as needed using company vehicles.

* Understand and follow federal and state regulations regarding the operation of commercial motor vehicles and Class 6-8 heavy-duty trucks.

* High school diploma or GED

* Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and ability to meet insurance requirements; Class A CDL preferred

* Proven knowledge of commercial vehicle equipment and operating systems

* Understanding of federal and state regulations regarding operating Class 6-8 trucks

* Ability to pass DOT drug screen and physical

* Resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also thrive independently

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

This role can be physically demanding and include standing, walking, climbing, and the ability to stoop, reach, bend, balance, climb in and out of trucks, and move about the dealership to communicate with other TCI personnel and customers. To successfully complete the tasks of this role, one must be able to meet the requirements necessary to maintain a DOT Medical Card, including the ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs.
