Position Overview
Embark on a rewarding professional journey as the Research and Evaluation Coordinator VISTA at Envirolution, a growing nonprofit in Reno, Nevada. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance program evaluation processes and conduct research on sustainability and STEAM-related topics. Your role will involve refining evaluation protocols, generating reports, and contributing to the development of impactful programs.
About EnvirolutionEnvirolution is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on empowering K-12 education and youth leadership development in energy efficiency, sustainability, and STEAM fields. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of leaders, especially among underrepresented groups, towards creating a sustainable economy through hands-on service learning and community engagement.
Envirolution's Programs

• Project ReCharge: Ongoing sustainability and energy efficiency program for students and professionals.
• Sustainability Expedition: Annual opportunity for youth to explore sustainable practices in Reno.
• Career Quest: Weekly tours of STEM businesses for 5th to 12th-grade students.
• Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED): Annual event to encourage girls in STEM fields.
• EDGE: Future empowerment program focusing on girls in engineering and related careers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Envirolution staff on data collection and analysis for all programs.
• Produce reports and data visualizations to support program improvements and strategic planning.
• Research and summarize data to align with Envirolution's mission and program objectives.
• Assist in program-related tasks and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for Envirolution's mission.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, spirit of service, and experience in research and data analysis preferred.

AmeriCorps VISTA Details
