Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating programs focused on empowering young women in STEAM fields
• Lead the implementation of EDGE, a new initiative aimed at bridging the gender gap in engineering
• Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate community connections and enhance program effectiveness
• Develop and deliver program materials to schools, companies, and community leaders
• Oversee the pilot implementation of the Energy Bike program and Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day
• Foster positive relationships with program stakeholders and the public
• Coordinate program-related meetings and events

About Envirolution's EDGE ProgramEDGE was established to address the underrepresentation of women in engineering. The program offers middle school students the opportunity to build Energy Bikes, fostering skills in leadership, problem-solving, and energy efficiency. EDGE Energy Bike Ambassadors will go on to educate others about energy concepts, inspiring future generations in STEAM-related careers.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong commitment to Envirolution's mission
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in project coordination and women's empowerment programs preferred

Compensation And Benefits

• Living allowance of $15,001.50
• Personal/vacation time, sick leave, and health benefits

The Envirolution Program Coordinator VISTA position is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service. AmeriCorps VISTA is dedicated to fighting poverty through year-long service commitments at nonprofit organizations.
