Lease Sales Executive – Northern Region

The Lease Sales Executive – Northern Region is responsible for the designated territory of Northern Alabama and Jackson, MS. This person is responsible for managing existing accounts and generate new accounts by contacting prospective businesses in their assigned region.

The Lease Sales Executive – Northern Region will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for contacting new prospects via email programs, telemarketing, networking, and cold calls
• Responsible for the establishment and growth of new rental sales in their assigned territory
• Develop recommendations regarding fleet size, mix, and product type
• Meet monthly sales quotas and participate in ongoing sales and customer events
• Accept ongoing responsibility for customer service to their customers
• Create target lists, participates in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within assigned territory
• Develop and present sales proposals to new prospects and existing customers short- and long-term rental opportunities
• Submit required reports to the VP of Leasing & Rental
• Other duties as assigned
• Occasional overnight travel and extensive local travel required

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Valid Driver License
• 1 years of related experience in truck rental and/or trucking industry
• Comfortable with cold call solicitation
• Resourceful and results oriented
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and strong analytical skills are a must
• Familiar with heavy truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria
• Understands administrative and service features of Truck Rental
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious and a team player
• Must have strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when needed
