True Fitness Technology is Hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist Near Fallon, MO

We are adding a QA Specialist to our growing team!

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to ensure the fitness equipment we manufacture meets both internal and external standards. This role involves close collaboration with the production, engineering, and customer service teams to monitor, identify and resolve quality issues and to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  1. Data Analysis and Trend Identification:
  • Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
  • Use statistical tools and methodologies to monitor product quality and performance.
  • Develop predictive models to anticipate and mitigate potential quality issues before they arise.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement proactive quality assurance methodologies to prevent defects and enhance product reliability.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspections.
  • Prepare and present regular quality reports to management, highlighting data trends and proactive measures taken.
  • Document non-conformities and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.

Customer Feedback and Compliance:

  • Address customer complaints and quality issues, working to resolve them promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure all products comply with applicable safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to gather and analyze customer feedback for quality improvement.

Quality Control and Inspection:

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and guidelines.

Field Investigations and Vendor Relations:

  • Travel domestically to conduct field investigations and ensure product quality in various locations.
  • Travel internationally to establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the manufacturing or fitness equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically with short notice
  • Passport to travel internationally
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE).
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components in fitness equipment.

This role is located onsite at our O'Fallon, MO location. Remote applicants will not be considered at this time.
