Overview:
As a leading refrigerated food shipper, we specialize in the timely and safe delivery of perishable goods across the country. Due to our growing operations, we are seeking a dedicated Traffic and Safety Coordinator to manage the flow of trucks and ensure adherence to safety protocols at our distribution center.

- Coordinate traffic flow at facility to ensure safety and efficiency
- Implement traffic control plans and advise drivers
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, management, and dispatch
-Maintain accurate records of truck arrivals, departures and any delays
- Verify truck VIN #s and Authority

Experience:
- Proven experience in traffic management, logistics coordination, or a related field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams
-Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in construction management principles
- Familiarity with compliance management standards
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks related to traffic coordination
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs

This position requires being on-site until warehouse closes. Thursday and Fridays can go until 2:00AM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
