Trueline’s client, a prestigious, AV-rated® law firm recognized as one of the “Best Companies to Work For” by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their Chicago team. Experience in the areas of D&O, professional liability, cyber, financial institutions and/or fidelity and crime for its growing practice is preferred but not required. What You’ll Do As The Insurance Coverage Attorney
Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues.
Draft coverage opinions, reservations, and disclaimers.
Provide coverage recommendations.
Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions and related materials.
Handle insurance coverage litigation, including taking and defending depositions.
You’ll Succeed as the Insurance Coverage Attorney If You Have:
5 years of insurance coverage experience.
Experience interpreting D&O, E&O and EPL insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and litigating coverage matters.
Superior academic credentials from a top tier accredited law school.
Member in good standing of the Illinois bar.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
