Truepoint Wealth Counsel is Hiring a Human Resource Manager Near Cincinnati, OH

The role of the HR Manager is key in providing support and oversight for essential human resource functions. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to HR strategy, compensation benchmarking and philosophy, budgeting, payroll, benefits design, and compliance with employment laws. The successful candidate will offer technical and operational guidance to the Employee Experience (EEX) Team and oversee multiple complex projects. The HR Manager cultivates relationships across all levels of the organization and with external vendors. This position involves executing responsibilities in the various functional areas:
Core ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Management
  • Contribute to and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with the firm's strategic goals.
Compensation And Budgeting
  • Manage the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Communicate and educate employees on the organization's compensation philosophy and programs; provide guidance to management on compensation-related matters.
  • Conduct regular market analyses via benchmarking studies to ensure the firm's total rewards remain competitive.
  • Manage the firm's HR budget, regularly collaborating with the COO & finance department to ensure we are meeting and/or exceeding peer benchmarks.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Oversee internal investigations and provide guidance on legal matters related to HR.
  • Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations; anticipate trends and implement where applicable.
  • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complicated HR compliance matters.
Payroll Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, timekeeping, and payroll disbursement.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to payroll laws.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the payroll system and related software.
Benefits Strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and recommend changes to benefits offerings to remain competitive.
  • Oversee the administration of health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee benefits.
  • Manage relationships with benefits providers, ensuring high-quality service and timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure benefits programs comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA.
  • Stay current on legislative changes that may impact employee benefits.

Requirements
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • At least 7 years of Human Resource experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in payroll management, including team coaching & mentoring.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, and market analysis. Preferred experience with Paycor.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • A positive, client/employee-centric mindset with the initiative and drive to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and manage internal processes, with great attention to detail, particularly around numerical accuracy.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer and occasional periods of sitting.
  • May have to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Minimal travel required. Frequent attendance at internal meetings is required.
  • Occasional attendance at meetings with outside partners.
  • Travel outside the region may be required for business and/or professional development.
