Please review the following job description:

Focus on developing the overall strategy to foster relationships and partnerships with key organizations to engage with diverse talent. Instrumental in assisting the organization to increase diversity representation and talent employed in the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Partner with Talent Enterprise Recruiting and Programs Director to develop strategies for the attraction, recruitment and candidate experience of targeted demographics. Lays out tactical plans to deliver on D&I Program strategies and initiatives through both direct actions and leading the actions of others.
2. Track Diversity & Inclusion recruiting metrics and reporting; interpret data to capture insights and identify hiring, outreach and candidate experience opportunities (internal and external pipelines)
3. Liaises with and influences divisional team and other internal partners to deliver a seamless and inclusive recruiting experience.
4. Develop, plan and lead D&I recruiting best practice and compliance trainings for Talent Acquisition team, leaders and interviewers
5. Own bi-monthly partner meetings, this role will own and moderate the large group sessions to review progress against goals, to engage in discussions to advance our learning, and to collaborate on challenges.
6. Select and attend (with Recruiters and other stakeholders) hiring events targeting underrepresented talent
7. Partner closely with the Recruiters and Business Resource Groups (BRG) leaders to influence the workforce strategies aimed at improving representation.
8. Mentor and coach recruiting staff to diversity outreach and inclusivity practices
9. Work with Internal Communications and External Affairs/Social Media teams to promote employer brand via social media channels with a focus on recruitment
10. Partner with the Early Career and Experienced Talent Recruiting team members as an Inclusion & Belonging subject matter expert
11. Gauge brand awareness and strength via social media presence and take corrective action as needed.
12. Lead event-planning/coordination of events with affinity partners to create turn-key recruiting events

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or relevant combination of education and experience
2. 5 years of supporting the full cycle recruiting experience
3. 6 years of diversity and inclusion strategy and/or execution experience driving national and local relationships resulting in increased diverse pipelines and hires
4. Prior experience building relationships with external organizations focused on historically underrepresented /diverse talent pools
5. Significant experience developing and implementing DEI talent acquisition programs
6. Broad business knowledge and ability to engage with and influence at all levels to implement strategic goals and translate them into tactical plans and objectives
7. Highly developed understanding and knowledge of program design and implementation in the areas of DEI and talent acquisition
8. Independent, strategic thinker who fosters a culture of curiosity, creative-thinking and continual process improvement
9. Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., supporting employee resource groups, mentoring employees, volunteering, joining cross-functional projects)
10. Demonstrates a company ownership mindset, thinking beyond boundaries of their own area
11. Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings
12. Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time and helping other teams
13. Identify opportunities to grow relationships with diverse communities that are best for our business and best for the participants of this community
14. Ability to represent Truist, both internally and externally, to deliver our vision and strategy succinctly and with impact
15. Advise stakeholders and partners on performance and how to achieve positive business outcomes
