Accounting Manager (39035)
Our client is a company in the Milwaukee area is looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 7 years of accounting experience, high attention to details, and strong leadership skills. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide training and mentorship to staff as needed.
- Ensure controls are in place.
- General ledger accounts are reconciled.
- Perform monthly close, financial reporting and related financial variance analysis.
- Oversee management of accounts receivable, cred card processing and disputes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit and stator reporting.
- Oversee management of sales and use tax compliance and reporting.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The Accounting Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
- 7 years of accounting experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detailed orientated, and a problem solver.
