Accounts Payable Specialist (38819)
Our client is a manufacturing organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist on a direct-hire/permanent basis. They are looking for someone with strong customer services skills, is detail oriented, and has a willingness to learn. This company offers flexibility with hours, growth opportunities, and amazing benefits! This position is in office but flexible for one week of remote work per month!
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and verify all purchase orders, receiving documents and invoices.
- Process daily payments.
- Resolve any discrepancies to accounts.
- Resolve vendor billing issues.
- Maintain files.
- Monitor all payment agreements for terms.
- Pull payment support for audits and reviews.
- Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.
- Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
The Accounts Payable Specialist will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate degree preferred or relevant experince.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and AP principles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
