Accounting & Tax Manager (39736)

Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager. This company is looking for someone who has 3 years of tax experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to grow and learn. The salary range for this position is $80-100k bonus.

The Accounting & Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Main responsibility: provide outstanding personal service to small business clients.
• Maintain smooth workflow throughout the year with efficient systems.
• Supervise and review work of staff accountants on monthly compilations.
• Analyze financial statements and advise clients.
• Prepare and review business and personal tax returns.
• Assist clients with ongoing tax planning.
• Handle new client installations and back work.
• Serve as primary contact person for a section of clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Provide advisory services, including business and financial advice, and computer & software support.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

The Accounting & Tax Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the accounting profession.
• CPA preferred.
• Prior experience with preparing monthly compilations for businesses, preparing business and personal tax returns.
• Highly motivated, energetic and friendly.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
