Clara Martin Center is a rural non-profit community mental health center located in the center of Vermont. We provide a variety of high quality behavioral health services to the residents of the Upper Valley primarily in Orange County and surrounding towns, with multiple offices located in Randolph, Bradford, Chelsea and Wilder. We are currently accepting resumes for a full-time Behavior Specialist to join our team working in the First Branch Unified District. This candidate should have expertise in the area of behavior intervention, social emotional needs, and trauma informed practices. These positions will work in combination with the school's student support specialist and school counselor to support a specific caseload of students in a K-8 school environment. The Behavior Support Specialists will support students in developing self-regulation and social-emotional skills in and out of the classroom based on the readiness of the student. The goal is for students to develop skills that will allow them to fully access their academic experience based on behavior plans, EST interventions and documented 504 plans. Flexibility, dependability, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to be a team player are essential. Bachelor's degree required. BCBA certification required or in process.
