NDCR is part of the Cristo Rey Network, a growing association of 40 schools across the United States whose education model is built around the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), a unique and highly successful partnership with the business community. Through the CWSP, students work five full days a month at one of 75 companies throughout the Merrimack Valley, I-93/495 corridors, and southern New Hampshire to earn the majority of their tuition. • Community RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach five sections of English, including American Literature and British Literature Use developmentally and behaviorally age-appropriate tools, materials, activities Maintain all pertinent records in PowerSchool Create a safe, purposeful classroom environment that prioritizes learning for all students Design and create appropriate lesson plans. Implement the History/Social Studies Curriculum aligned with the Cristo Rey Standards. Collaborate with other teachers, instructional leaders, and partners to ensure instructions is meeting the needs of all students Assess students regularly, analyze data, and determine appropriate next steps for instruction Build relationships and communicate regularly with students and their families to solicit input and share academic progress A desire to teach English Language Learners MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Teachers must possess: Bachelor's Degree in English, Creative Writing, Literature, Journalism, Classics or a related field; master's degree preferred. Experience teaching in a Catholic high school preferred.
