Compensation: $17.01 - $21.55 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. QualificationsAbility to work with ERC team of assistants
Ability to work well with special needs students
Understanding of age-appropriate behavioral issues
Knowledge and experience with basic computer operations desired
Ability to work one-on-one or in small groups
Ability to discipline with dignity
Ability to take initiative and be self-directed
Ability to stand, walk or sit on floor while working with students in the classroom or while supervising
Ability to physically lift, move or restrain a student on a regular basis
Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional

High School Diploma or GED required
Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate's Degree (may be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
