Meadowbrook Waldorf School has an immediate opening for an experienced educator to join us as our Fourth Grade Teacher. Our education program utilizes our gorgeous 28-acre campus, located in the heart of Rhode Island. We provide a teacher-led curriculum that fosters children's learning and growth through meaningful experiences, encouraging critical thinking, empathy, and confidence. Qualifications We are looking for a suitable candidate who is passionate about teaching children based on holistic principles of human development. The ideal candidate must be skilled at incorporating movement and the arts while understanding the current developmental stages of the students. We are searching for an experienced teacher with a bachelor's degree and Waldorf teacher training, however, we also welcome applications from those who are willing to actively pursue Waldorf certification. Compensation ?$44,000 annual salary ?Health insurance benefits include 100% of the premium for the employee and their minor children as well as 85% of the deductible. ?Grants of $5,000 per year to assist in covering the cost of obtaining Waldorf Teacher Certification over three consecutive years. ?401k plan, $1,000 in professional development support, 100% tuition remission, and relocation assistance.
