Position
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
SALARY:
As per Negotiated Agreement
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Valid Occupational Therapist license from the Ohio Department of Education.
Current license from the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainer's Board.
Ability to identify students with physical, sensory and/or perceptual deficits through use of standardized tests, customized measurers and/or observations.
Knowledge of treatment procedures.
Ability to design and construct adaptive equipment, devices and/or splints for the student and/or classroom.
Ability to train school personnel and/or family as appropriate in carrying out treatment procedures.
Ability to make recommendations in developing or modifying the transportation plan for the students' special needs and abilities including changes in adapted equipment.
Ability to consult with bus drivers/classroom assistants regarding transportation plans for individual students.
Ability to work as a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Successful BCI & FBI background checks.
