Small accounting firm in search of a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Part-time position Monday thru Friday, October 1 to May 1. (Hours to be determined).

Responsibilities:

· Greet and assist clients in office and via telephone system.

· Coordinating firm faxes, emails, incoming and outgoing mail.

· Maintain and manage file system and office/client database.

· Manage office calendar regarding appointments and seminars.

· Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.

· File and scan documentation.

· Process, scan and E-file tax returns, 1099s, and W2s.

· Assist with data entry bookkeeping into specialized software.

Job Requirements:

· Experience and knowledge in bookkeeping terms/procedures.

· Attention to detail.

· Excellent customer service skills and phone/office etiquette.

· Ability to follow directions.

· Maintain client confidentiality.

· Comfortable working with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.

· Organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
