Description
TPG Pediatrics is looking for a FULL TIME Medical Receptionist with 2 to 3 years of medical receptionist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.We are a large pediatric practice in Northern Virginia dedicated to excellent patient care. TPG prides itself on providing work-life balance and an opportunity for growth for all of it's employees. 2 to 3 years of experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Employee safety is a priority at TPG. We have daily cleaning procedures in place and provide PPE to include OSHA fit testing for all employees.
Daytime weekday schedule between 7:15 and 5:30pm. Once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic (8am-1pm). Hourly wage differentials are paid for our Saturday morning clinics.
The position is floating position between our Chantilly and Fairfax offices.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides a welcoming, professional greeting to patients and other visitors.
• Answers a high volume of calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Works as part of the team using scheduling matrix to schedule patient appointments.
• Collection of copayments and patient due balances. Also collects insurance information

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS:

• High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
• 3 years experience in medical reception is preferred but willing to train the right person.
• 3 years experience in customer service is preferred
• Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) experience is desirable

• Ability to multitask.
• Great customer service skills.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written communication.
