Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Medical declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

RTO Policy: - RTO of up to 10 consecutive days can be sent for approval. If all days are approved, an additional week will be added on to the end date of the contract.

• RTO during the initial 2 weeks of the assignment is an automatic declination, DO NOT REQUEST.

• RTO during the week of a holiday is an automatic decline, NO NOT REQUEST.

Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date (This is for ALL Medsurg nurses, regardless of subspecialty)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

May use team nursing model with ratios greater than 8* Float required

NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING REQUESTS- NO EXCEPTIONS.

Previous perm staff rules on returning: CANNOT RETURN TO THE SAME CAMPUS THEY WERE PERM STAFF AT WITHIN 24 months; they can return to another campus within Covenant Health after just 12 months

No block scheduling is allowed.
