Caregiver

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their overall well-being and happiness. Duties:

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication administration and manage medication schedules.
• Engage in social work activities, including counseling, socialization, and recreational activities.
• Support seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities with daily routines and tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, such as health status or behavior.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or individuals with other care needs.
• Knowledge of medication administration and ADLs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely and comfortably.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to all residents.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
