Compensation: $40-$45 per hour commensurate with experience overtime, a healthcare stipend, paid holidays, sick days, and vacation days, and a family vehicle to use.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Household:

• A professional and warm family of four is seeking a full-time nanny to join their household team, caring for their 4 month old baby.
• The family has a full-time nanny caring for their 4 year old and they are looking for a second nanny to work collaboratively in a co-nanny role. This person will primarily care for the baby, but collaboration with the other nanny is needed.
• They live in a multi-level home, with close proximity to various parks. Both parents work from home in separate work spaces.
• The family would love to build a long-term relationship with a nanny who they can work with long-term.
• The nanny should be open to traveling with the family on occasion (domestic travel) and comfortable swimming.
• They have two dogs, so please be dog-friendly.

Ideal Candidate:

• Someone experienced, loving, and who brings extensive knowledge as a career nanny is needed.
• The ideal candidate has exceptional experience working with infants, with a thorough understanding of infant and toddler development and milestones.
• The candidate should be proactive in identifying opportunities and making suggestions while maintaining excellent communication and collaboration with the family team.
• Someone very safety-conscious, especially during outings in the city.
• Demonstrated longevity and reliability in previous positions is important, as they are looking for a dedicated nanny who wants to grow with a family in their next role.
• The family is very covid conscious so someone comfortable with staying current on the Covid vaccine and indoor masking is needed.
• Speaking a second language is a plus, but not required.

Duties:

• Engage the baby in educational play and stimulating, age-appropriate activities that promote development.
• Plan and participate in walks and, as the baby grows older, outdoor adventures and activities that encourage exploration.
• Provide comprehensive baby-related care, including feeding, bottle preparation, diaper changes, clothing changes, and assist with establishing a sleep and feeding schedule and routine.
• Anything related to the baby including baby’s laundry and dishes, meal/snack preparation as baby starts solid food, keeping inventory of baby’s items like diapers and wipes, and light tidying up/organizing related to baby.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
• Recent infant care experience.
• Current or willing to stay current on all vaccines including a current Tdap, Covid booster, and annual flu shot.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong driving record
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• English fluency
