**Experience:• 24 months of role experience is required.• 24 months of Pulmonary Unit experience is required.• Experience with Meditech is required.Requirements:• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license in hand at the time of application.• This role may require floating to additional units and locations• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.Additional Details:Guaranteed Hours 36Director/ floor manager will do the scheduling. Block scheduling allowed as long as needs are met for the unit. Takes requests into consideration. Weekend Requirement: Every other. Set rotation, either weekends 1 and 3 or weekends 2 and 4.Holiday Requirement: Rotation with core staff. If been there long enough, will see what was worked the previous year. so not working the same holidays as previous year. Can take more of a preference. Manager will schedule. Floating Requirements: If not needed on 3P, would be required to float to 4P or 5P (Med-Surg) units or the Emergency Department to care for boarded patients. Boarders are intermixed in ED. Float pool floats first, then will be in rotation. Types of patients: Respiratory diagnosis, Medical conditions, Age specific population: adult and geriatrics. Trachs- not ventedHigh focus on observation patientsMed-Surg/Telemetry/Critical Drips/Trach Care required, Peritoneal Dialysis preferred. MS/Tele nurses with good cardiac background.RNs required to titrate dripsBLS, ACLS Must be AHAPrevious perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.Scrub: Navy1 reference from last 36 months (Any reference type)1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type)Proof of driver's license required to applyCertifications:• BLS (Basic Life Support)• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
