Overview

The purpose of this position is to processes releases on all paid consumer and commercial loans.

Responsibilities

• Process lien releases on paid loans for multiple states
• Assist internal and external clients with problems that may arise pertaining to the perfection of the Trustmark’s lien and paid loans.
• Perform research to determine status of the recorded or release of documentation, such as auto titles, Deeds of Trust/Mortgages, etc.
• Process requests for insurance letters of guarantee on vehicles that are a total loss.
• Submit releases on life insurance policies to various companies and maintain a file of daily letters
• Assist in the Collateral Vault to file collateral documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two-year college education preferred
• One year of work experience involving contractual documentation preferred
• General knowledge of loan collateral documentation and lien release requirements
• Understanding of overall banking with emphasis on loan operations
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Display strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Provide excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office and other document management-type software
• One year of work experience involving contractual documentation preferred
