Our co-founder Vani Hari, better known as The Food Babe, started out as an activist who wanted to hold big companies accountable for what they put into their products. And she made tremendous progress with the help of her online following dubbed "The Food Babe Army."

ABOUT THE POSITION

Truvani is looking for a multi-talented and self-motivated Director Supply Chain and Demand Planning to oversee all forecasting, ordering, and production schedules with our manufacturers. Our ideal candidate will develop creative solutions to streamline our internal planning to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining the integrity of the Truvani mission and values.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experienced in B2B and DTC forecasting/inventory management, systems, and modeling.
• Possesses the technical skills to do the work, while focusing on the needs of the customers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Self-motivated
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; must be able to manage and prioritize complex projects effectively.
• An experienced multitasker who can remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to schedule and manage time effectively.
• Experience in a variety of disciplines including business/project management, logistics/supply chain, and forecasting/inventory management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• B2B and DTC Forecasting - responsible for developing and gaining consensus on short/medium/long term forecasts based on retailer and consumer demand.
• Production Schedule Management - Responsible for managing multiple product lines from procurement to production planning; oversee production schedule management for our manufacturers.
• Calculate and write all purchase orders.
• Create and prioritize scheduling for all phases of purchasing, manufacturing, packaging, and inventory.
• Manage the planning and purchasing of packaging materials and bulk products used for finished goods to ensure total costs, inventory levels, and delivery schedules are optimized.
• Facilitate monthly reviews of forecast accuracy results and utilize feedback from Sales to adjust forward estimates.
• Oversee and manage overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors.
