CS Recruiting is Hiring a Logistics Sales Executive Near Chicago, IL

Our client is a dynamic and innovative player in the freight brokerage industry, specializing in third-party logistics (3PL). They pride themselves on providing top notch logistics solutions to their clients.
Logistics Sales ExecutiveOur client is looking to add a Logistics Sales Executive to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to generate new business and expand our client’s customer base as well as other duties that are outlined below.
Job Type: Full-time/Work from home
Responsibilities
  • Leverage your strong selling experience to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique logistics needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on freight solutions and 3PL services.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze market data to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing business landscape.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share insights, best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight brokerage sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Startup experience preferred.
This position offers a competitive base salary.
