L C Industries is Hiring a 4PL, Manager, Assistant OCONUS Near Barstow, CA

  • Commanding knowledge of the GSA 4PL contract and BSC Operations is a must.
  • Must be capable of learning the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and any Government Systems required to execute contract orders and logistical requirements.
  • Must be able to learn and routinely facilitate Company and Government processes to ensure required material is on hand.
  • Understand and facilitate Government and Company Processes required to order, receive, ship, track product/freight to multiple OCONUS locations.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills with Windows programs and must be extremely proficient in Excel.
    • Shift hours would overlap CONUS and OCONUS Store hours of operation.
    • Responsible for ordering material not normally stocked at LCI Distribution centers in order to expedite referral orders originating from OCONUS locations.
    • Will physically and electronically receive material into the company's ERP.
    • Stage and label material for shipment.
    • Coordinate and order containers through GSA.
    • Prepare referral orders for shipment, track shipped containers/product until delivered to Customer.
    • Notify Customers/Marine Corps Customer Service regarding order cancellations. Offer alternative purchase/replacement solutions for cancelled orders.
    • Oversee open sales lines reporting for OCONUS locations.
    • Follow up on vendor purchase orders. Initiate corrective action as required.
    • Update Estimated Ship Dates for Purchase Orders and COFER report.
    • Monitor GSA required reports. Initiate effective actions based upon data presented in reports.
    Contribute to and actively maintain Vendor Controlled Inventory (VCI) Reports for OCONUS referral.
    • Actively work with the BSC 4PL OCONUS Manager, BSC 4PL CONUS Manager, 4PL Contract Manager to positively affect Store operations, mission accomplishment and Customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure Store personnel are trained to accurately process incoming material and receipt processing in accordance with LCI standard operating procedures.
    • Provide oversight to BSC replenishment team by recommending CORE "adds" based upon reoccurring referral order history.
    • Interface with LCI's Purchasing and Distribution Divisions to ensure Customer satisfaction and contract compliance.
    • Manage and maintain an internal audit program to ensure compliance with all referral order contract terms, conditions and reporting.
    • Ensure processes are correctly documented, updated and disseminated as required.
    • Other duties as assigned.
