TSC is Hiring an Electronics Debug Technician Near Huntsville, AL
TSC is seeking a skilled Electronics Debug Technician to join our team in Huntsville, AL (Discovery) to oversee and perform electronics debugging activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving issues with electronic circuits, devices, and systems. This role involves leading a team of technicians, managing resources, and ensuring timely resolution of technical problems.
Lead and manage a team of Electronics Debug Technicians.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic circuits, devices, and systems.
Develop and implement effective debugging strategies and procedures.
Collaborate with design engineers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain documentation and reports on debugging activities and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Train and mentor junior technicians on debugging techniques and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and 3-5 years of production and/or assembly experience; 8-10 years of related experience also acceptable in lieu of a degree
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
Ability to assembly, test, rework, repair according to IPC Standards
Demonstrable experience testing and troubleshooting complex communications systems and providing formal problem reports.
Demonstrable experience deploying, installing and configuring RF systems and hardware components.
