Junior Camp Counselor

Overview:

Join our team as a Junior Camp Counselor and make a positive impact on the lives of children in a fun and rewarding summer camp environment. As a Junior Camp Counselor, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for campers while fostering personal growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing and leading recreational activities for campers
• Manage a group of 15 kids alongside other counselors
• Help clean up activities and classroom space
• Be friendly and communicative with parents
• Engage and play with children
• Help children with bathroom needs
• Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive camp atmosphere
• Have fun

Experience:

• Previous experience in educating or tutoring children is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or babysitting roles is beneficial
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques for children
• Ability to work effectively with students of various ages
• Understanding of Christian counseling principles is advantageous
